I’ve really enjoyed the experience of serving as a mentor and coach for the Wake Forest Business School ACLC and MSM programs. It’s been an opportunity of a lifetime to share my journey in the sports marketing arena, as well as my experience in athletics administration, while also learning from a talented group of students working on impactful projects. Throughout the sessions, we focused on mentorship, leadership development, and goal setting. I enjoyed engaging in meaningful conversations around career paths, decision-making, and navigating the evolving landscape of sports and business. The students brought thoughtful perspectives and genuine curiosity, which made each discussion both energizing and productive.

I think the most impactful and beneficial parts of the ACLC Scholar program were the mentorship, the exposure to experienced leaders, and the opportunity to collaborate with my fellow scholars. Having Cathy as my mentor was especially meaningful, as she was able to provide me with personalized guidance and a chance to learn from someone who has navigated many of the challenges and experiences I may face in my own career.
