Welcome MS in Business Analytics New Students

Welcome to the Wake Forest family! We are excited to work with you to ensure that the Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) program is a challenging and rewarding experience.

In this section of the website, you will find pertinent information and materials to prepare you for the upcoming school year. Please read all pages thoroughly and carefully, as they provide important information and list numerous items that you need to complete before you arrive for orientation. Check back often, as new information will be added as it becomes available.


We recommend you follow the timeline and checklist below to facilitate your transition to Wake Forest. As a first step, make sure you submit your enrollment deposit to officially accept our offer of admission.


  1. July 8-9, 2024: New Student Orientation (See Orientation)
  2. July 10, 2024: First day of class
  3. Note: A full class schedule and book list will be provided to you in late June.

  1. Submit your non-refundable enrollment deposit (refer to your admission letter). (See Enrollment Deposit)
  2. Complete the FAFSA to begin the financial aid process. (See Financial Aid)
  3. Activate your WFU account and enable Google 2-Step Verification within 10 days of receiving the account activation email. (See Computing)
  4. International Students Only: Watch for instructions on I-20 documentation to your WFU account a week after WFU email activation.
  5. Join the MSBA Class of 2025 LinkedIn group. (See Join Social Groups)
  6. Secure local housing. (See Housing)
  7. Consider registering for the optional Summer Programming Bootcamp by May 31.
  8. Pay tuition for the Summer semester (due June 1 or immediately upon payment of deposit if admitted after June 1). (See Student Financial Services)


  1. Submit your final, official transcript that indicates you have earned your degree(s). (See Final Transcript)
  2. Ensure that we have your correct local mailing address by updating “Your Personal Information” (log in with your WFU Google Account).
  3. Secure health insurance, required immunizations and complete the WFU Health and Immunization form. (See Health & Immunization)
  4. If you plan to park on campus during the summer or fall/spring sessions, you will need to purchase a parking permit.  (See Parking)
  5. Upload photo for Deacon OneCard, download required MSBA software, and complete other student agreements on The New Student Agreements & Tasks site. (See Textbooks & Pre-Work)
