Wake Forest Undergraduate Business Program Ranks Among Top 5% Nationally in U.S. News & World Report 2027 Ranking

The Wake Forest University undergraduate business program earned the No. 33 spot in the U.S. News & World Report 2027 Best Colleges ranking, placing it among the top 5% of undergraduate business programs nationally.

The ranking represents an eight-position improvement from last year’s report. U.S. News & World Report’s undergraduate business rankings are based 100% on peer assessment surveys of deans and senior faculty members at AACSB accredited business schools. Participants rate the overall academic quality of peer programs on a five-point scale.

“This recognition is a testament to the extraordinary commitment of our faculty and staff, who create an engaging, rigorous, and supportive learning environment for our students every day,” said Norma Montague, Interim Dean of the Wake Forest University School of Business. “Being ranked among the top 5% of undergraduate business programs nationally is particularly significant because it reflects the assessment by deans and senior faculty leaders at AACSB-accredited business schools across the country. This recognition from our peers affirms the strength of our academic programs and the exceptional educational experience we provide our students.”

In the broader U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges rankings, Wake Forest University placed No. 34 among national universities and No. 12 for undergraduate teaching.

Wake Forest’s undergraduate business program offers majors in accounting, business and enterprise management, decision analytics, and finance, along with business and accounting minors. Students also have opportunities to participate in immersive summer programs that complement their academic experience.
