Sherry Moss appointed Associate Dean for MBA Programs

The Wake Forest School of Business is pleased to announce the appointment of Sherry Moss as the Associate Dean for MBA Programs, effective June 1.

This transition comes as Professor John Sumanth has concluded his leadership appointment with the School of Business MBA Program and will resume teaching and academic research full-time.

Moss joined the School in 2005 and has previously served in past leadership positions as Director of the full-time MBA program from 2008-2011 and Area Chair from 2014-2016.

Prior to her time at Wake Forest, Moss served as an Associate Professor in the Department of Management and International Business at Florida International University where she led their Executive MBA Program. Moss has received numerous awards, including the University’s High Impact Research Award and distinction as the Benson Pruitt Professor in Business. Her research interests include abusive supervision and multiple job holding.

Her work has been published in a number of premier academic journals including the Academy of Management Journal, Administrative Science Quarterly, Journal of Applied Psychology, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Journal of Organizational Behavior, and Journal of Management. Moss holds a Ph.D. in organizational behavior and a Bachelor of Science degree in management from Florida State University.
