The competition was an extension of Yum! Brands' World Hunger Relief effort and was conducted among student teams from leading MBA programs across the country.
The goal was to leverage the principles in Novak's book to provide solutions that address global hunger. The Wake Forest students won first place and a $250,000 donation from the Yum! Brands Foundation was made on their behalf to the United Nations World Food Programme.
