“We are all so proud of and happy for Team Wake’s impressive win at the regional competition. All of us in the Wake Forest University Schools of Business community wish them the best as they compete in the upcoming national competition in NYC!” said Anna Cianci, Wake Forest Professor of Accountancy and KPMG International Case Competition Faculty Advisor.

The KPMG International Case Competition challenges student teams to work through a realistic business scenario. In just three hours, teams review a dossier, identify the key business issues, develop recommendations and present to a panel of judges.

This year’s Wake Forest team is upholding a tradition of success in the KMPG International Case Competition. Wake Forest has won the U.S. Nationals and Global Finals for two years in a row.

‘I am extremely proud of the Wake Forest students for this achievement. This competition is a unique opportunity for the students to display their business acumen. They displayed an impressive range of skills to win against four other top universities in the Southern Semi-Final competition. I look forward to watching the team compete at the National Finals next month,” said Susan Hopkins, Primary Recruiter at Wake Forest for KPMG LLP.

The winner of the U.S. Nationals in New York will advance to the KPMG International Case Competition on April 18 – 20 in Hong Kong. Visit www.kpmgcampus.com/kicc to learn more.
