Record Turnout for Dawn with the Dean

The fifth year of Dawn with the Dean is off to a record start with 118 Wake Forest University Schools of Business students, faculty and staff, plus two dogs, taking part in the first campus run of the school year.

"You should be proud of making the commitment to join us here this morning," Steve Reinemund, Dean of Business, told the group. "Remember, this is not a race, but better yet it's a fundamental part of living a balanced and healthy life."

Dean Reinemund started this tradition because of his belief that exercise leads to both healthier bodies and sharper minds.

It's never too late to lace up your sneakers and join in the fun!

Dawn with the Dean happens every Thursday morning during the school year. Runners, joggers, and walkers of all ability levels are welcome and encouraged to participate in the three mile foot journey through campus. The group gathers at 6:20 a.m. on the Ketner Stadium track on the Wake Forest University campus, just across the street from the parking lot behind the Worrell Professional Center (W-1), and departs at 6:30 a.m. sharp.
