LEGOå¨ Marketing Executive returns to campus to deliver the Elevator Competition keynote address
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. –Almost everyone has a hands-on personal experience with the product that Wake Forest University Schools of Business alumnus Colin Gillespie (MBA ’00) works so passionately to promote. He the Senior Director of Marketing at LEGO® Direct to Consumer. In his role, he serves as the driver for developing LEGO®’s global direct to consumer strategy and is responsible for building innovative consumer experiences and identifying the growth potential created by those experiences.
“The LEGO® brand, brick system, and community uniquely allow me to create amazing experiences for consumers, employees and my own family… I would not trade that for anything,” said Gillespie.
Wake Forest University Schools of Business will welcome Gillespie back to campus on Friday, March 25 at 6:00 p.m. in Deacon Tower at BB&T Field. His presentation titled “From Turnaround to Transformation” is part of the Leading Out Loud Broyhill Executive Lecture Series and will serve as the keynote address for the 12th Annual Elevator Competition. Gillespie will share his 11-year journey with LEGO® that has taken him both around the world, and the company.
