James Otteson, executive director of the BB&T Center for the Study of Capitalism and teaching professor at the School of Business, discusses his new book The End of Socialism with EconTalk host Russ Roberts. In this interview, Otteson suggests that socialism is morally and practically inferior to capitalism. He also emphasizes the importance of moral agency and respect for the individual in his defense of capitalism.
