Faculty Award Winners Announced at Annual Awards Luncheon
The faculty of the Wake Forest University School of Business recently gathered to celebrate the accomplishments and accolades achieved during the 2024-25 academic year.
In honor of the countless contributions that faculty have made to education, scholarship and service both inside and outside the classroom, the following awards were presented:
- Cowan Faculty Research Award – Stephen Smulowitz, PhD
Recognizes a faculty member who represents the highest standards of scholarship - High Impact Scholarship Award – Pelin Pekgün, PhD
Recognizes a faculty member for his or her significant influence on business practice or pedagogy - Senior Class Teaching Award – Mark Johnson, PhD
Based on a ballot of all graduating seniors and recognizes outstanding contributions to the education and personal development of our graduating seniors - MSA Class Teaching Award – Whitney Simpson & Jim Willis
Chosen by our graduating MSA students and recognizes outstanding contributions to their education and personal development - MSM Class Teaching Award – Ali Zeytoon-Nejad, PhD
