The oil and gas industry supports 146,000 jobs in North Carolina, adds almost 12.4 billion dollars to the state’s gross product, and generates 3 billion dollars or more in total NC government revenue, according to the North Carolina Energy Forum and American Petroleum Institute. These ideas and more were presented at the Wake Forest University Energy Forum held Wednesday, November 5 in Farrell Hall’s Broyhill Auditorium.
