Class of 2017 CPA pass rate
The report on the 2017 CPA exam results reveals our Master’s in Accounting students achieved the No. 2 pass rate in the nation among large schools. Wake Forest students had an 84.5 percent average pass rate, well above the national average of 52.9 percent, with 757 U.S. universities with accounting programs participating.
“This accomplishment is truly a testament to our students’ work ethic coupled with the dedication and rigorous preparation by our highly skilled faculty and supportive staff,” said Associate Dean Jim Willis. “Our MSA students have earned the No. 1 ranking thirteen times since we began offering the degree in 1997, more than any other university during the same time period. Our students have earned the No. 2 ranking twice and placed in the top 5 nationally in 18 out of 19 years since our program has been in existence.”
