Masters in Management Orientation
Orientation is a time for our graduate business students to interact with classmates and become acclimated to the School of Business, the Master’s of Science in Management (MSM) program, and the MSM staff. Orientation is a rigorous and comprehensive experience that is REQUIRED for all new students. More details on orientation will be posted soon.
ORIENTATION SCHEDULE (GENERAL)
Summer Orientation – early July 2025
More details for 2025 orientation will be sent to your WFU email address in mid-June.
SCHEDULE COMING SOON
The summer orientation schedule occurs the week prior to the first day of class (July 14th). Students will have opportunities to meet and interact with their future classmates leading into orientation. There are asynchronous workshops and reading that will be made available at least two weeks prior. The live (virtual and/or in-person) sessions occur 3-4 days prior to the first day of classes. Students are required to complete all asynchronous and be in attendance for all live sessions prior to the start of classes.
Fall Orientation
The fall orientation schedule occurs the first Friday of the fall semester (August). This session prepares students for the fall semester, teamwork, and working with a new Graduate Consulting Project sponsor. Students are required to complete all asynchronous and live sessions.
Spring Orientation
The spring orientation schedule occurs the first Friday of the spring semester (January). This session prepares students for the spring semester, new teams, and working with a new Graduate Consulting Project sponsor. Students are required to complete all asynchronous and live sessions.
PROFESSIONAL GUIDE
During your time in the Masters in Management program, you will need to dress in smart casual, business casual, and business professional depending on the event.
