Class Sessions

  • Two virtual, synchronous class sessions (one in January & one in February; Dates: TBD)
  • Virtual discussions & engagement
  • On-ground experiences will provide the majority of contact hours for the course.
  • Students are expected to attend all travel dates and class sessions.

Format

This course will utilize a blended learning experience that will include lectures, class readings, case studies, assignments, and projects. Participation will be a large percentage of the assessment for this course.

The Onground Experience

  • 4 Nights in Frankfurt  & 4 Nights in UAE 
  • A day trip by train to Strasburg, France
  • Double Occupancy Rooms in 4-star hotels in both cities*
  • Breakfast each day as well as most lunches and dinners (a few meals will be on your own)
  • One-way flight ticket from Zurich to Dubai 
  • All on-ground transportation
  • Company visits, panel discussions, and a case study
  • Guided tours of Frankfurt and Dubai 
  • A dedicated tour coordinator accompanies the group in each city
  • Business-focused and cultural excursions, as well as time to explore on your own.
  • Tentative itineraries include: company & international bank visits, guided city tours, welcome & departure dinners, museums, tours of waterways, visit to Burj Khalifa and Palm Islands

*Single-room accommodations are available for an additional charge of $700. Lodging will be covered for the nights starting on March 8 (the day before the experience starts) and ending on the last night: March 16.  The student will cover any additional nights.
