Consider the following ways in which you can give back to the School of Business while also making new connections and continuing to grow your Wake Forest network. Plus, alumni who participate in one or more of the volunteer opportunities below will also earn an “A” toward their Loyal DEAC status.

Event Volunteers

Volunteer to help with a signature event, such as Alumni Weekend, Homecoming, or our annual Day with Wake Forest in Shanghai. Or, help us reach alumni across the country by hosting an event in your city. As host, you help us secure a venue in your city and we’ll help provide either a featured speaker or promote a Program Happy Hour. Let us know you’re interested by emailing sbalumni@wfu.edu

Featured Alumni for Cultural Awareness Months

The School of Business is committed to celebrating the diversity of our community, and it is powerful for our current students to see faces and stories of alumni with whom they may identify. Featured alumni will be displayed on our digital boards throughout Farrell Hall and the Charlotte Center during the following Cultural Awareness Months:

  • LatinX Heritage Month (September – October)
  • LGBTQ History Month (October)
  • Black History Month (February)
  • National Women’s History Month (March)
  • Asian Heritage Month (April)

Interested alumni should complete this form and share a high resolution photo of yourself or contact Amanda Horton (hortonaj@wfu.edu), Senior Associate Director, Integrative Student Services – Center for Excellence, for more information.

WAKECommunity Volunteers

WAKECommunities are made up of alumni, parents, and friends interested in connecting with each other and the University. By reflecting the best of the Wake Forest experience – the friendliness of social interaction, the stimulation of intellectual discussion, the excitement of athletic competition, the satisfaction of service to others – WAKECommunities programs remind all who attend of the special qualities that enriched their Wake Forest experience.
