Qurate Retail Group exec Jeffrey Davis to deliver the Wake Forest School of Business graduate hooding keynote address

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C., – Jeffrey Davis, executive vice president and chief financial officer of Qurate Retail Group, will be the keynote speaker at the Wake Forest University School of Business Graduate Hooding Ceremony. The event will be held Sunday, May 19, at 11 a.m. in Wait Chapel on the University’s Reynolda Campus.

In his role at Qurate Retail Group, Davis oversees financial operations and global strategies for the group and serves as chief financial officer for QVC, Inc. Qurate Retail Group consists of leading retail brands QVC, HSN, zulily, Ballard Designs, Frontgate, Garnet Hill, and GrandinRoad.

During his 30-year career, Davis gained extensive experience in finance and held executive leadership positions at  J.C. Penney, Darden Restaurants, and Walmart. He has also served in top financial roles at Lakeland Tours, McKesson Corporation, private investment holding company The Hillman Co., and KPMG.

Davis has been included among Black Enterprise Magazine’s “100 Most Powerful Executives in Corporate America,” and Savoy Magazine’s “100 Most Influential Blacks in Corporate America.” He has also been honored with the National Achievement in Industry Award from the National Association of Black Accountants.

He earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University.
