Wake Forest University School of Business students inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma honor society

Wake Forest University School of Business students who performed at the highest academic level in 2018-19 were inducted into the national Beta Gamma Sigma honor society on April 9 in a ceremony in Farrell Hall’s Broyhill Auditorium on campus.

Membership in Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest recognition a business student can receive in a business program accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International.

The Wake Forest University chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma dates to 1961 and is one of more than 590 campus chapters worldwide. Business and enterprise major Meghan Hurley led the chapter this year.

Wake Forest University congratulates the following inductees at the baccalaureate level: Nicolas Andreou, Cheng Chi, Gregory Harrison, Carolyn Hernandez, Rachel Hotvedt, Mary Louise Kehaya, Stephen Klemash, Skylar Liang, Katherine Nielsen, Nicole Rosinsky, Annouk Salnave, James Sowa, Kelsey Terry, Caroline Tripodi, Katherine Verlander, Raymond Yang, and Alexandra Yarosh.

The following students earned initiation by ranking among the top 20 percent of graduate students in their class:

From the Master of Arts in Management program, these students were inducted: Callista Addis, Jasmyn Alexander, Tori Bilas, Brent Breedlove, Brittany Crawn, Hannah Dix, Mary Foster, Eliza Geary, Debra Greif, Erin Hagen, Vincent Hardesty, Edward Kwiatkowski, Emory   Lopiccolo, Alexandra Marian, Jessica McDaniel, Emily Mitchell, Logan Oyler, Anita Patel, Jack Patton-Smith, Rachel Rapp, Caitlin Schirmer, and Cody Taylor.

Master of Science in Accountancy students inducted include: Christopher Bernardon, Preston Bowers, Stacey Dorogy, Charles Harrison, Madison Hoff, Soo Jeong Lee, Hunter Nichols, Xiauzhu Wang, Zhijun (Krissy) Wang, and Lauren Youngson.

Students from the Master of Science in Business Analytics program include: Andrew Bowers, Mengfan Cao, Elizabeth Crawford, Maxwell Davis, Stephanie Delaney, Shannon Eby, Yan He, Ziyu Li, Wenchen Liu, Kate McGinley, Molly Petersen, Leonhard Raudaschl, Forest Richardson, Jennifer Rustige, Yuanpeng Tang, Ziyu (Martin) Wang, and Qiao Zhou.

Students inducted from the Master of Business Administration programs include: Shakeer Abubaker, John Beebe, Alyssa Bowker, Ralph Breeden, Kristal Britton, Travis Browning, Kaitlyn Cooper, Elizabeth Daley, Michelle Engarto, Kevin Gilbert, Alexandria Hensleigh, Joshua Hulin, Ray Hutchins, Luke Livengood, William Maddox, Shannon McKinney, Rebecca Meade, Kelly Melton, Michael Murphy, Daniel Nantz, Dash Rajarajhan, Amy Reynolds, Kate Riley, Joey Shandley, Kevin Stein, and Sydne Stone.

For some of the inductees, this is their second honor from Beta Gamma Sigma: Kevin Gilbert, Madison Hoff, Joshua Hulin, Luke Livengoodm, Xiauzhu Wang, and Qiao Zhou.

Beta Gamma Sigma has inducted more than 830,000 outstanding students into membership since its founding in 1913. Members currently reside in all 50 U.S. states and more than 190 countries around the world.
