Wake Forest University Marketing Summit to Take Place Feb. 16 - 18
WHAT: The Wake Forest University Schools of Business Center for Retail Innovation presents the Marketing Summit, beginning Thursday, Feb. 16 and running through Saturday, Feb. 18. At its core, the Marketing Summit is a case competition that draws talented marketing minds from top MBA and undergraduate schools across the globe and challenges students to apply their critical thinking skills and creativity to real-world business issues. Additionally, it brings senior marketing executives from major corporations to Wake Forest University to network, attend forums and judge the case competition.
Media are invited to join the following events:
• Thursday, Feb. 16, 6:30 PM @ Bridger Field House – Marketing Summit kick-off event, where a ribbon cutting ceremony will take place celebrating the official opening of the new Center for Retail Innovation. Participating teams will be introduced and executives will assemble to the start the 48-hour Summit.
• Friday, Feb. 17, 5:30 PM @ Worrell Professional Center, Room 1312 — Marketing Summit keynote, Richard A. Noll, Hanesbrands CEO, will speak.
• Saturday, Feb. 18, 7:00 PM @ Millennium Center – Gala and Awards Reception will announce the winning teams for the case competition and the winner will receive a portion of this year’s record $106,000 prize purse.
