Wake Forest team takes third in Deloitte Battle of the Beltway
Two teams from Wake Forest University competed in Deloitte’s annual Battle of the Beltway, a federal business case competition. The final rounds were held at George Washington University on November 16 with 15 teams participating.
Ashton Harrell (’17) a philosophy major, Kathryn Webster (’17) a business enterprise management major, Lucy Shen (’18) undeclared, and Stephen Zuchelli (’17) an economics major placed third. Princeton University’s team won this year’s event.
Our second Wake Forest team: Heather Key (‘17) an accounting major, Zhiyu Li (‘17) an accounting major, John Murray (‘17) an accounting major, and Jason Pillard (‘17) a finance major, also competed in Washington, D.C. Team advisors Dana Hutchens and Mike Crespi travelled with the teams to the national competition.
