Wake Forest School of Business welcomes future business leaders

The Wake Forest University School of Business recently welcomed more than 750 incoming graduate and undergraduate students for the 2022-2023 academic year.

Undergraduate students, along with candidates in the Master of Science in Accountancy (MSA) program, evening MBA program in Winston-Salem and Charlotte, and online Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) program completed orientation in August. Students in the Master of Science in Management (MSM) program and on-campus MSBA program began their graduate experience in July.

Incoming Student and Program Highlights:

  • Students hail from 40 states and 19 countries
  • Graduate students represent 185 undergraduate institutions
  • 65 businesses are represented among working professional students
  • Working professionals average 6.4 years of work experience
  • 87 students are “Double Deacons” who earned more than one degree from Wake Forest
  • International students represent 22 percent of incoming students
  • More than 75 percent have been awarded scholarships

Undergraduate Business (UG)

The Wake Forest Undergraduate Business Program is among the nation’s best, ranking nationwide at No.1 for both academic advising and teaching, No. 21 among the best undergraduate business programs and among the top 20 for employment outcomes, according to Poets & Quants. The program offers four academic majors: accountancy, business and enterprise management, finance and mathematical business.

Master of Science in Management (MSM)

The Wake Forest Master of Science in Management degree is designed specifically for non-business majors and business minors who want to excel in today’s marketplace. The program ranks No. 5 in the U.S. and No. 24 in the world in The Economist’s global ranking. The School of Business earned the No. 2 spot in the U.S. for career opportunities and also earned the No. 2 spot in the nation among alumni ratings of career services.

Master of Science in Accountancy (MSA)

Wake Forest’s Master of Science in Accountancy is recognized as one of the top programs in the country due to its world-class faculty, internship opportunities and unmatched CPA pass rate success. The MSA program recently completed two innovative initiatives, the Stride CPA Readiness program and the Accounting for the Future program, with Deloitte, one of the nation’s top accounting firms. Stride CPA Readiness program is an initiative that offers recruited Deloitte professionals personalized support to prepare for the CPA exam. Accounting for the Future is an undergraduate program dedicated to increasing diversity in the accounting field.

Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA)

Wake Forest’s Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) program develops analysts that take data from insight to impact and add value to any organization from day one. The Wake Forest Center for Analytics Impact recently held its second Conference on Analytics Impact. This year’s conference highlighted the significance of communicating with healthcare data and lessons learned from the Covid-19 pandemic. The Wake Forest MSBA program is offered both on-campus in Winston-Salem and online.

Master of Business Administration (MBA)

The Wake Forest part-time Master of Business Administration (MBA) program is among the best programs in the country, ranking at No. 1 among part-time programs in North Carolina and No. 19 among programs nationwide, according to U.S. News & World Report. For 13 consecutive years, Wake Forest has held the highest statewide ranking among part-time MBA programs in North Carolina business schools. Wake Forest’s MBA program is offered on its main campus in Winston-Salem in the evenings and at the Wake Forest University Charlotte Center campus in Uptown Charlotte evenings and Saturdays. The Online MBA program offers the same world-class MBA education to students from virtually anywhere.
