The Wake Forest University School of Business now offers an enhanced way of learning for working professionals who desire greater flexibility when choosing an MBA program.

The part-time MBA Charlotte Saturday program will transition to a hybrid option, providing a full range of MBA format offerings for Wake Forest, including in-person and online. The hybrid program is designed for working professionals who are seeking a flexible learning approach that will allow them to immerse themselves in engaging asynchronous lessons during non-classroom weeks, while still maintaining face-to-face instruction from world-class faculty and strong, engaging relationships with peers.

“Incorporating this new format into our MBA program portfolio creates a flexible program option that allows working professionals to pursue a rigorous program while maintaining their professional and personal commitments. The hybrid MBA will prepare students for success as leaders in any number of industries,” said Sisel Distinguished Dean of Business Annette L. Ranft.

This new hybrid MBA program will consist of 60 percent on-campus instruction at the state-of-the-art Wake Forest Charlotte Center campus and 40 percent engaging, asynchronous learning whenever and wherever they choose during non-classroom weeks. Semesters are 15 weeks long and students can complete the program in 20 months. The hybrid program will officially launch in Spring 2023 with classes starting on January 14.

“Adding a hybrid option to our part-time MBA offerings reflects our dedication to providing working professionals the ability to pursue their degree, broaden their perspectives, and sharpen their abilities to solve business challenges, all while managing the demands of their careers and personal obligations,” said Sherry Moss, Associate Dean for MBA Programs. “Students in the hybrid program will have access to the same outstanding resources, including a personalized learning environment with world-class faculty, concierge service, and one-on-one career guidance.”

The hybrid format is just the latest innovation from the Wake Forest School of Business MBA program. In 2020, the School added an online MBA program and a business analytics concentration, adding to the previously developed strategy and leadership concentration and finance concentration. The program also launched a career ambassadors initiative designed to give students exclusive leads to alumni from the MBA programs and beyond.

The Wake Forest MBA program historically ranks among the best programs in the nation and state. For 13 consecutive years, Wake Forest has been ranked the No. 1 part-time MBA program in North Carolina and No. 19 nationwide, according to U.S. News & World Report.
