Wake Forest MBA students served as the lifelines for high school students representing the Junior Statesmen Foundation in a game of Financial Football on Sept. 4 at the Wake Forest University Charlotte Center.
Financial Football is a fast-paced, interactive game that engages students while teaching them money management skills. Visa and the National Football League teamed up to help participants learn to tackle financial challenges.
London Fletcher, Linebacker, Washington Redskins; Senator Kay Hagan, D-North Carolina; and State Treasurer Janet Cowell served as coaches for the teams as they answered financial questions to earn yardage and score touchdowns.
