Scott Davis is New Bern, N.C.’s city attorney. He’s also the bailiff in the new CBS legal drama “Reckless” that has ties to Wake Forest University. Davis’ screenwiter and exective producer girlfriend gave the lead character ties to Wake Forest University School of Law. And when there was no actor to play the bailiff in the pilot they shot in Charleston, S.C., she asked Scott to fill in.
“She would watch some city meetings on the Internet and thought that would be a great backdrop for a summer drama,” Davis said. “A lot of things are taken from my personal life in general. My family and friends will recognize themselves in some of the details, but it is just a story, a made up story.”
