Schools of Business to Host Veteran’s Day Celebration on Monday, Nov. 12

Military veterans are an integral part of the character-based educational experience at Wake Forest University Schools of Business. We will honor the men and women who have served our country by hosting a special Veteran's Day ceremony Monday, November 12 from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. in the Worrell Professional Center courtyard.

Event Details:

  • National Anthem performance by Wake Forest freshman Lauren Darnis
  • Color Guard Detail
  • Comments by Student Veterans Organization president Cody Hoyt (U.S. Marine Corps), Dean of Business Steve Reinemund (U.S. Marine Corps) and Winston-Salem Mayor Allen Joines
  • Presentation of Wake Forest Military Challenge Coins
  • Taps ceremony in memory of the fallen with special dedication to friends who passed away this year including Mike Farrell, Trustee and Board of Visitors President (U.S. Army National Guard), John Medlin, Trustee and Executive Partners Mentor (U.S. Navy), and Matthew Peck, 2012 MBA graduate (U.S. Navy)
