Today, the faculty of the Wake Forest University School of Business gathered to celebrate the accomplishments and accolades achieved during the 2023-24 academic year.
In honor of the countless contributions that faculty have made to education, scholarship and service both inside and outside the classroom, the following awards were presented alongside announcements of promotions, tenure and recognition of retirees:

Recognizes a faculty member who represents the highest standards of scholarship - High Impact Scholarship Award – Julie Wayne
Recognizes a faculty member for his or her significant influence on business practice or pedagogy - Senior Class Teaching Award – Mark Johnson (second year in a row)
Based on a ballot of all graduating seniors and recognizes outstanding contributions to the education and personal development of our graduating seniors - MSA Class Teaching Award – Jim Willis
Chosen by our graduating MSA students and recognizes outstanding contributions to their education and personal development - MSM Class Teaching Award – Chris Smith

Recognizes a notable innovation or initiative related to instruction in our undergraduate or graduate programs - Service MVP Award – Michelle Steward
Recognizes outstanding service to the School, above and beyond administrative duties - Spirit Award – Michelle Steward
