“You should be proud of making the commitment to join us here this morning,” Steve Reinemund, Dean of Business, told the group. “Remember, this is not a race, but better yet it’s a fundamental part of living a balanced and healthy life.”
Dean Reinemund started this tradition because of his belief that exercise leads to both healthier bodies and sharper minds.
It’s never too late to lace up your sneakers and join in the fun!
Dawn with the Dean happens every Thursday morning during the school year. Runners, joggers, and walkers of all ability levels are welcome and encouraged to participate in the nearly three mile foot journey through campus. The group gathers at 6:20 a.m. in front of Farrell Hall on the Wake Forest University campus and departs at 6:30 a.m. sharp.
