Our students, faculty and staff gathered on the Reynolds American Terrace to pack nonperishable meals into bags, and then boxes, for delivery to local schoolchildren who can’t count on meals at home.

While spring break is an opportunity for many families to relax or travel, for some students in Forsyth County Schools, it’s a time when they may go hungry. Hundreds of students rely on breakfast and lunch provided at their elementary, middle or high school because they don’t have access to enough food at home.

Working together on March 22, we packed hundreds of bags (thousands of meals) that will be provided to local schoolchildren next week. And on April 16, the School will host its first-ever Fit for Business 5K race. Register now.

Proceeds from the race, which will be run on campus, will also benefit the Forsyth Backpack program.
