Justice at a distance: Extending freedom globally
The BB&T Center for the Study of Capitalism invited Fernando Teson to campus on November 8 for a talk on global justice. Teson, a legal scholar and political philosopher, shared his thoughts about how to achieve global justice by liberalizing trade and immigration, ending tyranny and corruption, and privatizing aid. An audience of about 100 students, faculty, and staff members attended his talk in Broyhill Auditorium.
