Wake Forest University recently appointed Charles L. Iacovou as interim senior associate dean of the Babcock Graduate School of Management, Gordon E. McCray as interim senior associate dean of the Calloway School of Business and Accountancy, and Matthew T. Phillips as assistant dean of business.
Iacovou, who will continue as an associate professor in the Babcock School, joined the Wake Forest faculty in 2001. Iacovou received a doctorate in business administration at the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration at the University of Vermont.
McCray, who will continue as an associate professor in the Calloway School, joined Wake Forest in 1994. McCray received a doctorate in business administration at Florida State University, a Master of Business Administration degree at Stetson University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in physics at Wake Forest.
Phillips joins Wake Forest with his appointment as assistant dean of business. He received a law degree at Wake Forest School of Law, a Master of Divinity degree at Duke University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics at Wake Forest.
The appointments come as Wake Forest is in the process of a realignment of its business schools under the leadership of Dean of Business Steve Reinemund. Previously, the Babcock and Calloway schools had separate deans.
