Deac in a Day
Deac in a Day is an immersive experience that allows prospective students an opportunity to fully engage with the MS in Management, MS in Accountancy, and MS in Business Analytics programs, as well as our Wake Forest Business community. The event provides attendees a comprehensive overview of graduate student life and allows for the opportunity to meet current students, program faculty, career services, and admissions to learn more about these unique Master's programs. College seniors at any stage of the graduate admissions process are welcome. Registrants are encouraged to submit an application to their program of choice before the event takes place. By doing so, attendees can complete their admissions interview during Deac in a Day and receive an admissions decision on the next business day. Register here.
Executive Education - Leading People Who Are Different From You
In todays global economy, organizations are continuously becoming more diverse. This broadening diversification of organization members includes cultural backgrounds, ethnicities, age, gender, and sexual orientation. Thus, it is imperative people managers understand how to effectively lead individuals who are different from them. Leaders who can bring an array of diverse individuals together and form a cohesive team aligned on common goals, purpose, and values will gain a competitive advantage. This 1-day program provides participants with the knowledge and tools to understand and effectively lead people who are different from them. Participants also gain insights into how to shape the teams or organizations culture to create an environment that is authentic and brings out the best in everyone. Hylton Lecture: Kim McCaslin ('93)
The Hylton Lecture Series in Accountancy was established in 1980 to honor Delmar P. Hylton, who started Wake Forests accountancy program in 1949 and helped build it into one of the top accounting programs in the nation. This year's Hylton lecture will be presented by Kimberly McCaslin ('93), Partner and Head of the North America Portfolio Group at Bain Capital.
