Wake Forest MBA students prepare global dinner, don exotic attire to celebrate International Food Festival

Cultures and cuisine from 18 countries from around the globe will be represented at the annual International Food Festival at Wake Forest University’s Babcock Graduate School of Management. The festival begins at 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 22, in the courtyard of the Worrell Professional Center on campus.

“This is a time for us to discover and celebrate the differences in our cultures,” says Chiragi Kothari, president of the Babcock School’s International Student Association. “Our guests will be treated to delicious cuisine, and it’s all for a good cause.”

The event is open to students, faculty, staff and friends of the Babcock School. Media are welcome to attend and cover the event. Donations will be accepted for the International Student Association and UNICEF, a women and children’s charity.

Wake Forest’s Babcock School offers experiential, hands-on, graduate business education. Personal interaction characterizes the learning environment, which stresses entrepreneurial thinking and teamwork, and the program’s graduates earn a high return on their investment.
