Clifford Britt ('82, JD '86, MBA '86) Honored with the Walter Clark Award

Clifford Britt received The Walter Clark Award from the North Carolina Advocates for Justice at their annual convention on June 21, 2011.

The Walter Clark Award is the North Carolina Advocates for Justice’s highest award given for extraordinary service to
justice and to the Advocates for Justice in the tradition of former Chief Justice Walter Clark of the Supreme Court of North Carolina.

Mr. Britt is a past president of the NCAJ. He was also recognized recently as one of only two lawyers in the Top 100 NC Super
Lawyers with their primary area of practice representing patients injured by medical
negligence.

Mr. Britt practices with Comerford & Britt, LLP in Winston-Salem, with a primary focus on cases of catastrophic injury or death.
He is a past president of the Wake Forest Law Alumni Council and serves on the Wake Forest Law Board of Visitors.
