School of Business Ranks High for Preparing Graduates for Desired Companies and Industries

Wake Forest University has been recognized for excellence in preparing business students in their chosen industries and desired companies. According to the 2024 Best Undergraduate Business Schools ranking by Poets & Quants, the Wake Forest undergraduate business program ranks No. 2 nationally in career outcomes, as rated by alumni evaluating their undergraduate experience.

“Our objective has always been to empower our students with the acumen and expertise necessary to stand out in their respective fields. Seeing our efforts translate into such high rankings truly reaffirms our mission of developing passionate, ethical business leaders, and we could not be more thrilled about our students’ remarkable achievements,” said Kenny Herbst, Associate Dean of the Undergraduate Business Program.

The ranking’s academic experience measure, and specifically the alumni survey, relied on three years of data. The career outcomes sub-category within the survey considered the initial job placements of business students after graduation. The findings show that 94% of recent graduates entered their desired industry, and 91% of recent graduates joined their desired company.

“The School of Business allowed me to gain an incredible knowledge base of management and leadership concepts that are vital in the business world, but have also translated to coaching,” said Miles Lester, a graduate assistant coach for the University of Houston Men’s Basketball program. “The School of Business provided me with a valuable skill set in these areas that I rely on every day to be successful in my role and profession.”
