Mary Beth Lowry ’16

From the moment she stepped foot on campus, Mary Beth knew Wake Forest felt like home to her. Her great grades helped her gain admission to several North Carolina universities, but while her heart belonged to Wake, her family’s budget just wouldn’t stretch that far. Through the generosity from alumni like you, the scholarship and assistance she received helped make her college dreams come true. After four years of hard work, Mary Beth plans to graduate, start a career and continue her success so she can give back to the School. Her goal? To help students like her receive a Wake Forest education.

Vince Ward ’16

As the first person in his family to attend a four-year university, business and enterprise management major Vince Ward is breaking new ground. As he was entering junior year and being accepted into the School of Business, the financial aid and scholarships he was also given played a crucial role in allowing him to stay and complete his degree at Wake Forest. Now Vince plans to graduate with the goal of making an impact not only on his small hometown, but the rest of the world. To the alumni who have offered financial support, networking, and internships, not only to him but his fellow students, Vince offers a sincere thank you.
