Executive Education - Leveraging a Growth Mindset for Personal, Team, and Organizational Success
Fostering Agility, Innovation, and Performance for Lasting Impact Our view of the skills and capabilities we possess has a tremendous impact on our performance, happiness, and ability to learn. By believing in our potential for personal and professional growth, and pursuing each through communication, collaboration, innovation, and openly addressing challenges and stumbling blocks, we create new opportunities to grow and develop. This one-day workshop will focus on the principles of growth mindset, using the research of Carol Dweck and her colleagues as a foundation. This interactive program is designed to help you embrace challenges as opportunities, to be more resilient in the face of adversity, to pursue your goals with reckless abandon, and to help others do so as well. We will focus on your own development of a growth mindset as well as ways to influence your workplace and team to adopt this way of thinking. The program will be highly interactive, focusing not only on understanding growth mindset and related concepts, but on exercises and discussions to actively develop these skillsets. You will apply program learnings to your real-world environment in consultation with other like-minded participants, as well as develop a personal action plan to take you forward. In todays global economy, organizations are continuously becoming more diverse. This broadening diversification of organization members includes cultural backgrounds, ethnicities, age, gender, and sexual orientation. Thus, it is imperative people managers understand how to effectively lead individuals who are different from them. Leaders who can bring an array of diverse individuals together and form a cohesive team aligned on common goals, purpose, and values will gain a competitive advantage. This 1-day program provides participants with the knowledge and tools to understand and effectively lead people who are different from them. Participants also gain insights into how to shape the teams or organizations culture to create an environment that is authentic and brings out the best in everyone. Wake Forest Spring Football Showcase/Tailgate
It's going to be sun's-out, fun on Saturday, April 19 for the 2025 Wake Forest Football Spring Showcase. The event will begin at 3 p.m. Admission is FREE and open to the public. Designed to be an interactive, high-energy experience for students, families, and Demon Deacon fans of all ages, the Spring Showcase will feature an exciting mix of on-field action and fan engagement. Fans in attendance will enjoy a Wake Forest Football Team Showcase, where the team will hit the field in a practice/scrimmage format. Additionally, fans and students alike will have the chance to compete alongside Wake Forest football players in a Punt, Pass & Kick Competition. Throughout the event, attendees can also enter to win exclusive giveaways, including Nike Team gear, autographed items, gift cards and more! Before the event, Wake Forest students are invited to tailgate outside of Gate 5 at Allegacy Stadium, free food and (non-acholic) beverages will be provided!
