Paid Tax Season Internships

MSA students have the option to extend their degree by an additional semester and take on an optional nine-week paid internship position. These internships come during the busy season, which provides real-world experience prior to graduation. Many students receive employment offers directly from these internships.

In-Demand Career Paths

The MSA degree provides excellent preparation for the CPA Exam, as evidenced by our pass rate that sits 30 percentage points higher than national average for first-time test takers. It also is the launching pad for a range of career paths as an accountant or auditor, which are roles that have a median salary of $73,560 according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

With our three degree tracks, our graduates are able to specialize their degree to a career that matches their interests and goals. This includes positions in corporate accounting, financial analysis, forensic accounting, management, or consulting—many in decision-making leadership roles.
