Dr. Langlitz has held several managerial positions for profit and non-profit organizations, where she led organizational development and training departments.  In addition, she is the founder of The Center for Communication Empowerment (1997) and works with clients to optimize their communication practices. 

A partial list of 120 clients include: Duke Energy, Bank of America, Comptroller of the Currency, National Institutes of Health, National Archives, Lucent Technologies, NOAA, National Credit Union Association, George Washington University Hospital, and the American Psychological Association.

Professor Langlitz is the author of "Have Confidence, Will Travel", and "EUREKA!  Build Communication Confidence and Enhance Work Relationships".  She contributed to the books, "Conversations on Success", with Stephen Covey and Denis Waitley, and "Best of the Best".   Additionally, she was published in the L.A. Times, Seattle Times, and Baltimore Sun and was a guest speaker for television and radio programs, including an NPR affiliate. 

Dr. Langlitz is an Associate Teaching Professor of Practice, Applied Business Communications, at Wake Forest University's School of Business.  Additionally, she taught Applied Business Communications at The George Washington University School of Business.  Prior to that time, Professor Langlitz taught 
Organizational Development and Communications at Ithaca College and the University of Maryland.   

Dr. Langlitz holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Towson University, a Master of Arts in Communication Studies from Emerson College, and a Ph.D. in Human Development from the University of Maryland. 
 

35 years professional speaking, writing, training, consulting, and teaching on soft skill topics. Designed first class, five star training programs. Terminal degree held in Human Development with a focus on leadership.
