WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.—The full-time MBA program at Wake Forest University’s Babcock Graduate School of Management was ranked No. 45 in the world in the fifth annual survey of graduate business schools conducted by the publication América Economia.

The survey appeared in the August 2005 issue of the pan-regional business magazine which is published in Spanish and Portuguese and circulated throughout Latin America. Wake Forest ranked No. 31 among U.S. schools in the survey, which is intended as a resource for Latin American students interested in pursuing an MBA outside of Latin America.

From a selection of schools chosen for program quality or global focus, the following variables were equally considered in determining the ranking: excellence in selection of the best candidates, schools’ relationship to Latin America, curricular innovation and percentage of international students enrolled.

In addition to the full-time program, Wake Forest MBA, which has campuses in Winston-Salem and Charlotte, offers four MBA programs for working professionals.
