Wake Forest Project Nicaragua Team returns from Managua

During the week of January 5 - 13, a team of 14 MBA and MA students plus four faculty advisors traveled to Managua, Nicaragua to provide assistance to local small businesses. The students provided two days of instruction on marketing and operations issues related to the "Business Canvas" model. They spent the other days traveling across Managua visiting client businesses, learning about their operations and coaching owners on various marketing and operations techniques. The students also had the opportunity to learn more about Nicaraguan history, culture, and cuisine. This was the second trip to Nicaragua the team made during this school year.

The team will be returning to Managua during Spring Break in March. If you are a Wake Forest University business school student who would like to gain "hands-on experience" with international business in Central America, the team would welcome your participation in the March trip.
