Dr. Baliga is actively engaged in teaching, research and consulting in the areas of global strategic Management. He has co-authored four research based books: "Escaping Business as Usual: Rethinking Strategy" "Emerging Leadership Vistas," "Tables Are Turning: German and Japanese Multinational Companies in the United States" and "Quest for Survival and Growth." He has won numerous Babcock teaching awards, including the Babcock Educator of the Year award for three years, the Sara Lee Excellence Award in 1992, the first Kienzle Teaching Award in 2000. In addition he has won the Thirst for Knowledge Award in Finland--a national award presented to the individual for substantial contributions to senior executive development. He is currently working in the area of development of global mindset, transformation of state owned enterprises to market based ones, Managing in VUCA environments and and management of large scale multinational research projects.
