Global Perspective

Global themes are woven throughout our undergraduate and graduate programs through specific courses, study abroad opportunities, classroom discussions and our international study tours. Our various international opportunities help students develop a thorough understanding and a unique perspective of the global business community.

Recognizing the challenges of today's business climate, Wake Forest wants you to get involved inside and outside the classroom through internships, class projects, meetings with business and civic leaders, student activities, consulting projects or international study tours.

Entrepreneurial Leadership

Wake Forest infuses entrepreneurial thinking throughout both our undergraduate and graduate programming, so students become accustomed to thinking innovatively regardless of their career path.

In addition we offer an interdisciplinary minor for undergraduates in Entrepreneurship, host the WFU Elevator Competition--an international business plan competition--and support the Angell Center for Entrepreneurship, a leader in connecting faculty and students with local business projects.

Communication

Whether you are "building your personal brand" through social networking or pitching an idea for venture capital, strong writing and public speaking skills are essential.

Our small class sizes become de facto communication laboratories where students get real experience exchanging ideas with faculty and classmates, honing writing and presentation skills and supporting their ideas with data. As a result, Wake Forest students graduate confident in their ability to put forth an idea and back it up.

Dedicated Faculty

Wake Forest faculty members are scholars, teachers, and in many cases, practitioners as well. Actively engaged in research and publication for leading scholarly journals, our professors also develop cases, textbooks and other classroom materials.

More than 90% of our faculty members hold a PhD or other doctoral degree.
