| The Worrell Professional Center for Law and Management in Winston-Salem opened in 1993. Conveniently situated on the scenic Wake Forest University campus, the building features spacious classrooms with technological tools to enhance teaching and presentations, study rooms to accommodate team meetings and wireless computer access. Resources We promote technology to ensure that our graduates are prepared to use advanced information technology for data analysis, planning and decision-making in their careers. Alumni often cite our extensive databases, such as Euromonitor Global Market Information, Mediamark MRI+, Hoover’s and others, as invaluable tools while in the program. We were among the first MBA schools to give laptop computers to students, and laptops are included with tuition. Library
The Worrell Professional Center library is as technologically well-equipped as it is architecturally spectacular. In research and projects for courses, students use many of the Web-based information systems they will encounter later in their careers, including LEXIS-NEXIS, PROQUEST, Bloomberg, Mergent, Investext and Euromonitor. In our library you also will find an extensive print collection. The library includes about 21,000 books in management and related fields, more than 325 periodicals and a reference section with company directories, investment information services, industry overviews, and demographic and statistical information sources. Study carrels are equipped with built-in lighting and computer connections. Computer Lab Worrell houses a computer lab exclusively for Wake Forest MBA students. The lab, which is open 24 hours a day, includes numerous Dell PCs networked to high-quality laser printers. Other lab equipment allows students to scan documents, slides and photographs and to digitize/capture video to create professional-quality multimedia presentations. A Bloomberg terminal provides students with news, data and analyses for financial markets and businesses.
