On-Campus Interviews

  1. Contact the Career Management Center
  2. Your recruiting coordinator will:

    • Record your contact information
    • Confirm dates and interviews for your visit
    • Review deadlines for job descriptions, selection lists and other needs
    • Arrange for special services and equipment
    • Answer any questions

  3. Provide recruiting information to the Career Management Center
  4. This should include company Web sites, information for students to research and an emailed copy of the position and/or program description:

    • Overview of the company/business unit
    • Web address
    • Position titles, functions and specific responsibilities
    • List qualifications, required experience, education, skills, abilities and work authorization
    • Locations for positions
    • Company contact information

  5. Select interview method
  6. Preselect Interviews: Review applicants’ resumes before you grant interviews.

    Open Interviews: Leave your schedule open to anyone who wishes to interview.  Before your interviews, we will send you a final schedule and confirm that you have all applicants’ resumes.

  7. Interview
  8. Please arrive at the Worrell Professional Center at least 30 minutes before the first scheduled interview. Arrangements for parking, lunch and refreshments will be made.  If Winston-Salem is not a convenient site, please contact us to make other arrangements for appointments at our Charlotte campus, videoconferencing or scheduling phone interviews.
