| Earning an MBA is an intensive educational experience. Students in the Evening ~ Winston-Salem program develop an appreciation for the relationships among business disciplines such as operations, finance and marketing and deepen their skills and knowledge of each of those disciplines. The program's curriculum will acquaint you with major contributions to management theory. Courses in finance, marketing and operations will help you develop an understanding of these critical organizational functions. Quantitative analysis and economics courses help advance skills in problem diagnosis, analysis and resolution. Courses in accounting and information technology management focus on the evaluation of information, as well as its collection, storage and retrieval. Finally, you will explore the role of the manager and the process of management through courses in behavioral science and international competitive policy. Students take 15 core courses that range from 1.5 to 4.5 credits each and 3 electives of 3 credits each. The faculty designed the sequence of courses to maximize the educational experience. Tools, skills, concepts and principles build upon one another in a logical sequence as you progress.
