| The Worrell Professional Center, which opened in 1993, is home to the graduate schools of Business and Law. It was the first building in the nation with graduate business and law schools under one roof, sharing opportunities to integrate law and business. Conveniently situated on the scenic Wake Forest University campus, the building features faculty and staff offices, as well as spacious classrooms with technological tools to enhance teaching and presentations. The school has its own information technology staff; wireless computer access is available throughout the building; study rooms and a computer lab are available 24 hours a day. Resources We promote technology to ensure that our graduates are prepared to use advanced information technology for data analysis, planning and decision-making in their careers. Alumni often cite our extensive databases, such as Euromonitor Global Market Information, Business Source Complete, OneSource Global Business Browser and others, as invaluable tools while in the program. We were among the first graduate business schools to provide laptop computers to Full-time MBA and MA in Management students as part of their tuition. LibraryThe Worrell Professional Center library is as technologically well-equipped as it is architecturally spectacular. In research and projects for courses, students use many of the Web-based information systems they will encounter later in their careers, including LEXIS-NEXIS, Business Source Complete, Thomson One Banker, Mintel, Investext, IBISWorld and Euromonitor. The library also houses an extensive print collection, including about 20,000 books in management and related fields, more than 300 periodicals and a reference section with company directories, investment information services, industry overviews, and statistical information sources. Study carrels are located throughout the library and are equipped with built-in lighting and power sources. Wireless internet access is available throughout the library. Computer Lab Worrell houses a computer lab exclusively for Wake Forest business students. The lab, which is open 24 hours a day, includes numerous Dell PCs networked to high-quality laser printers. Other lab equipment allows students to scan documents, slides and photographs and to digitize/capture video to create professional-quality multimedia presentations.
