Holistic approachOur integrated curriculum helps students learn to analyze and solve problems holistically, by understanding that a solution involves more than one component. Knowing how component parts from different functional areas relate to one another, rather than viewing each individually, helps identify creative new solutions. That drives our approach to delivering course content. A course such as Quantitative Methods may apply to several functional areas. Instead of teaching the course in isolation over an entire semester, our faculty members present subject matter over the course of most of the academic year, with parts of the course offered when they are most relevant to topics being taught in other classes. First yearBecause of the integrated nature of the core curriculum, every student is required to take all first-year courses. No exceptions are permitted. Second yearLanding a challenging job in a specific field is a student’s priority even before enrolling in MBA school. Our Career Concentrations build on the foundation of functional skills developed during the first year of the program and focus on preparing you for your career. Faculty members designed courses in concentrations and job-specific paths after extensive discussions with executives and recruiters, ensuring that students have the academic preparation needed to succeed in their chosen careers. All students must choose a primary Career Concentration, which requires 12 to 15 credit hours of study from pre-approved lists of courses. Students may choose to pursue two primary concentrations if they prefer, or they may choose one primary concentration and one secondary concentration. A secondary concentration requires nine credit hours of study. Required courses** Complete Course Descriptions
