2017 Marketing Analytics Summit
April 7-8, 2017
Student teams from universities across the globe competed this year in the 27th Annual Wake Forest School of Business Marketing Analytics Summit, hosted by the Center for Retail Innovation. The Marketing Analytics Summit is a student-led competition that offers both Graduate and Undergraduate students the opportunity to apply their marketing skills and creativity to real-world marketing challenges.
The 2017 Marketing Analytics Summit was sponsored by the Association of National Advertisers (ANA), the ANA Educational Foundation (AEF), and CVS Health. These organizations provided the cases on which the teams competed.
Events during the Marketing Summit included a keynote speaker, an industry panel discussion, networking and recruiting events, an awards gala, and of course, the competition itself. Graduate division winners were Wake Forest University School of Business (1st place), Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Business School (2nd place), and Washington University in St. Louis Olin Business School (3rd place). Undergraduate division winners were Utah State University Jon M. Huntsman School of Business (1st place), University of Pennsylvania Wharton School (2nd place) and Brigham Young Marriott School of Management (3rd place). The winning teams divided a total prize purse of $56,000.

2017 Retail & Health Innovation Challenge

The Wake Forest University Center for Retail Innovation is proudly presented the 2017 Retail & Health Innovation Challenge sponsored by CVS Health.
This one of-a-kind challenge is a student-led pitch competition dedicated to developing innovative solutions that address the challenges and opportunities found at the intersection of the retail and healthcare industries.
What makes this competition unique is that teams give an “elevator pitch” – a two minute quick pitch to a panel of judges, with no fancy AV support or presentation decks allowed.
