The Last Day

Today was our last day in Hong Kong and for all intents and purposes our last day in China.

Yesterday was Macau and I think all involved had a great time at the Venetian and the lucky ones that went to Cirque.

Today we were hosted by Wachovia and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Both experiences capped a diversified trip and beneficial business visits.

Tonight our harbor cruise was thwarted by rain but I was lucky enough to join, Susheel, Stacy, and Patrick for an authentic Chinese dinner with great service and great griends.

Then a night cap was enjoyed by many at Sticky Fingers, celebrating a wonderful trip and new friends.

Our time in Hong Kong has flown by, the amount of diversity both cultural and business are amazing. The types of architecture range from traditional Asian, to colonial, to modern but yet nothing looks out of place even when you board a turbine jet driven ferry to journey to Macau. Hong Kong has managed to capture a multitude of images and cultures and combined them into a beautiful tapestry that is this unique 6.94 million person city.

Now even though the trip is winding down, I am not done blogging. I think Josh has done an excellent job showing you pictures of some of our journeys but I am sure if you ask any one, this trip cannot be explained through a blog it is a wonderful experience that must be conveyed in a multitude of media. My personal interest in Asia has been renewed and this region holds a new level mystery rivaled only by that of a curiosity of a child when they hear the first stories of the Orient Express or the Great Wall.

Fat Dragon > The Goodies

Several people spent an evening at the Happy Valley Race Track in Hong Kong. Colin won big on Fat Dragon...and promptly spent his winnings on a Kiss tie.

Hong Kong Tailor Experience

Several folks took the opportunity to get custom-made suits and shirts in Hong Kong...

DP World

On Wednesday we visited the corporate headquarters of Dubai Ports World Hong Kong, one of the largest and most-productive terminal operators in Hong Kong. Here are some pictures from our trip.

Foot Massage

Pete, Chad and I had some time to kill after lunch and decided to get foot massages. Not only was it relaxing, but also quite effective.

Live from Macau

Ok, I am blogging live from Macau over my blackberry. A group of six of us are sitting in the press premiere of the new Cirue Du Soleil.

The theme of illusion and mystery mounts as we are priveleged to see the newest Cirque show yet.

It is time to sit back because the show is about to start.
