Home Future MBA Intimate Environment Beyond the Classroom International Focus Student Stories Admissions Information
One of the focuses of the Wake Forest Business Program is on international cultural awareness. As much as possible we replicate the marketplace in the classroom. Outside of campus, we encourage students to immerse themselves in new and foreign cultures through programs like Project Nicaragua, Benin and beyond. These efforts stem from a belief that good business practices require an informed worldview.

See what Wake Forest is doing in the World Community:
  • Project Nicaragua is a student-led initiative founded in fall 2006 by four full-time MBA students who wanted to make a difference. Click here to read more about Project Nicaragua
  • Recent graduate and co-organizer of Babcock's Project Nicaragua, Christopher Burch, is spending 18 months in Angola. Chris has been developing a seminar to instruct small business owners in emerging markets. His time in Angola with the MBA Enterprise Corps will put this learning to good use, as he works with BP to try to keep rich oil contracts within that nation's economy. Read all about Chris's experiences on his blog.
